I got the full/queen size duvet cover, but I'm using it on my California King size mattress topper - the cover hangs over by a couple of inches on either side, but when the sheets are on we don't notice.
I previously used a Medibed mattress cover over both the topper and the mattress below, but it strained to fit, and I found it wore out every couple of years (and before that I used a cover with a membrane coating, which was sticky and awful). The Allersoft cover stays on better, and generally feels more comfortable.
I do wish that Allersoft made topper covers and futon covers, with a clamshell zipper like they have for their mattress covers, but the duvet cover is working well enough.

great item, should have bought one long ago. No more feathers! We no longer look like birds... The cover has a pleasant rustle to it, makes me feel like the cover is starched. My comforter does not have any special ties to use with the ties on the cover, however I simply tied them around the corners of the comforter ( no feathers there anyway)and it is handy.

I wanted something to cover my duvet when I use it with my duvet cover. I actually use my regular duvet cover on top of the protector just as an added precaution against dust as well as preserving the life and quality of the comforter. Add this protector along with the duvet cover certainly adds a little more weight to my comforter but its not a problem. I was thinking about getting duvet donuts but am unsure if they will really work. Either way I dont have such a problem with the comforter shifting around in the protector. Its easy to clean, strong nice quality cotton, strong well sewn zipper. I will be order this again for my next comforter.
